- As part of God’s immutable Laws, God instructs us what is to be eaten and what is not, so that our diet may procure radiant health for us.
- God designed certain plants and animals to be consumed by man while others are not to be consumed in any way.
- God created specific laws concerning clean and unclean meats to teach his people to make difference between the clean and the unclean, the holy and the profane.
- That although these laws pertain to that which is physical, their purpose has dual meaning and have a profound spiritual connotation.
- By these Laws, God wants man to choose to be holy, even as He is holy even in this physical way.
- The laws concerning clean and unclean meats were given before the Great Deluge of Noah’s age, were restored to the congregation in the wilderness, were honoured by God’s people in the Old Testament, and were kept by Jesus Christ, His apostles and all of the New Testament churches.
- We further believe that these laws serve a very important purpose for God’s people. They are designed to be a daily reminder that God’s children must make the decision to obey all of God’s Laws and instructions, inlcuding food – And in so doing allow our God to order and govern every aspect of life for us as our creator.
- The Church honours God’s instructions concerning clean and unclean meats, and in every nutritional aspect.
